I went to the Padres game last night with Todd because he wanted to go to a game when the Expos were playing. He visited Canada on one of his recent trips and he really likes Canada so we HAD to go last night. He also HAD to hear "O Canada" the Canadian National Anthem. So we got there early and I ran around taking a bunch of pictures except I forgot that I had taken my SD card out to upload it onto the card reader so I didn't take as many as I would have liked to. Anyhow, it turned out to be a really fun game and we had a blast last night. And the Padres won! Yay, one game behind first place baby. We met a really nice couple from Montreal area as well. They were sitting on the wet grass without any blankets! I brought two and I wanted to ask them if they wanted to share our blanket with us or I would give them my extra to use. They didn't speak great English because they speak French but it was good enough to communicate with so they were thrilled that we offered. They were in shorts and sandals to boot! brrrrrr. They are on holiday in San Diego for 3 weeks and they are having a blast. They love the weather but it was pretty chilly that night. Funny story they told us. They were hanging out in Cornado and saw a guy on the bus with an Expos hat. The guy was a local and told them that the Expos were playing the Padres that night. So next thing they knew, they just hopped on the bus right down to Petco. How cool is that! So we chatted and hung out with them the whole night and it was really nice. We'll have to try and make a trip out to Montreal because they were really nice. We exchanged info and might have to look them up if we ever make it out over there. But anyways, I wanted to share the photos of Petco and my experience there last night. Petco Pictures!
Champions On Ice in Anaheim. It was so much fun. Yvonne and her mom are the sweetest people in the world. Hayley and Michael came into town and I'm excited to go to Seattle. More to come...
OMG tomorrow is my birthday! I thought I would post this lovely picture that Pauline Stuckey made for the month of April. Isn't it gorgeous? For more of her stuff, go here.
Congratulations to Phil Mickelson for winning the Masters. It was very exciting to watch it on tv and I actually deal scream and squeal when the ball went in because it sure did not look like it. How exciting. I am so happy for him. I'm a huge Phil fan for a few reasons. First of all, he got me into golf. Second of all, he's from San Diego. Thirdly, he's so talented. Now I just have to wait a few years to see if my other favorite athlete can win the big one.
Well I got my hair cut today! Yippeee! I love getting hair cuts. Wish I could do them all the time. It's great. I always want to do the hair flips because it's so soft and fluffy. /sigh I need a hair dresser to do my hair because I love getting it done. As a matter of fact I love getting my makeup done too so I guess I need to be rich and famous. I don't know what I can do but I gotta do it. I guess I became inspired by the photos of the recent MKF get together. If you'd like to check them out, here are the links: Evan's PhotosHeather's Photos
I just have to say that I love Tori Amos. Can you tell? lol She is wonderful. I had forgotten that she was supposed to be on Ryan Seacrest's show. So I looked up when his show was on in case there was a rerun and thankgoodness his show isn't on until 4 and I figured that Tori would go on later in the show anyhow and she did! I got it on tape thank goodness. She is just an amazing person and I feel so lucky to be a fan.
I've purchase 2 wallets recently and they are both going back. Why o why is it so difficult to find a wallet? I would love to design my own and my own purse in fact. That would be nice. I see stuff out there and I think wtf? If anyone has any wallets they really like tell me what you own because I am fed up.
