On tap to pen the screenplay is Moulin Rouge's wunderkind Baz Luhrmann. Luc Besson (THE FIFTH ELEMENT; THE MESSENGER), reknown for his jaw dropping visuals, is slated to direct. The film will also feature Emma Watson (HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS) and Daryl Sabara (SPY KIDS) as Jane and Michael Banks. The most oft named actor in the early running for the male lead is Ewan McGregor (MOULIN ROUGE), with Rupert Everett (MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING) close behind. A dark horse, Kenneth Branagh (HAMLET) closes up the shortlist as the unlikely but dashing male-lead, Bert. Filming has not yet been scheduled.

Wow what a night of figure skating. Check this out. 7 National titles. 5 World Championships. Michelle was on fire last night! Wow! Thanks to Christi and her cute daughter for taking Kristen and I up to Torrance to watch Michelle kick everyone's ass last night.
Well this weekend is the World's Figure Skating Championship. I'm so nervous for tonight. Go Michelle! I'm driving up with Kristen and a nice lady from the forum who agreed to let us come with her. I think it'll be fun. It's always fun to watching skating together with a group of people. Anyways, everyone send out good vibes and wish her luck.
I've been wanting to post about the Academy Awards but haven't done so yet. Wow I'm so happy for Nicole Kidman, that was the only award I really cared about. She looks so gorgeous in that dress too! Adrien Brody, wow! How exciting. And you know what? He's in the new Tori Amos video "A Sorta Fairtytale". What a year he's had. Starring in a Tori video, winning an Oscar, and kissing Halle Barry?
Well today was an interesting day at work. I love my 9th graders. No attitude, interested in learning, just naive. But today I yelled like I have never yelled before at a class. I was so angry that I could feel the blood rushing to my face. I've never yelled at a class like that and I like them!
Wow it's been a very exciting week this week. I was given a the temporary position at Monte Vista. So what does this mean? Do I have a real job? Will I get benefits? Will I get more pay? Will I be working there next year? no, yes, yes, and no. I am getting a pay raise and benefits! Yay!!! So that's something on the unemployment front.
My car is such a clunker. Anyone that's ever ridden with me knows this. Well the car was up to be smogged this month and we've put so much money in this car that we should have put that money towards a new car. Well my father finally had enough and we bought a car! I know am a proud owner of a blue 1997 Honda CR-V. Wow, it's bigger than I want it to be but it's awesome and 100% better than my car. I can't believe I have a new car!
Well March 13th was my 3 year anniversary with Todd. Wow, I can't believe it's been so long. We went to Vegas this weekend with Todd's mom. That was interesting. We had a good time though. Thanks for flying me out there Todd!
Well I am thrilled, excited, happy to report that I've finally cut my hair! It's back to should length length.lol. I love it. I didn't realize how unhappy I was with my hair until I chopped 10 inches of it off! My hair grows fast. Thank goodness you were getting your hair cut Kris. Your hair looked soooo awesome!
