Wow well I'm back to work teaching my own class the way I want to. It's been a challenge since I've been sick and I haven't had the chance to really prepare. So all this week I've been getting ready. I've been working pretty hard and putting in long days. Hopefully I'll catch up with my prep work soon.

Congratulations to MICHELLE KWAN on winning her 7th U.S. National title! Wow!!! She was just amazing.

Thanks Kris for trying to get the results for me. I had a nice weekend up in LA. Universal Studios was fun as was the MKF meeting. It was cool to meet some people from the forum.

I am however still sick as a dog and it sucks ass. I hate being sick and I don't appear to be getting well. Man this cold is kicking my ass.

My brother is being deployed tomorrow and I am really sad. He is a sailor on the U.S.S. Pearl Harbor. I always thought that the navy was a good thing for my brother. I just hope that we aren't bent on waging war.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix i absolutely superb and will delight all J.K. Rowling's fans. She has written a brilliant and utterly compelling new adventure, which begins with the words:"

The hottest day of the summer so far was drawing to a close and a drowsy silence lay over the large, square houses of Privet Drive.....The only person left outside was a teenage boy who was lying flat on his back in a flowerbed outside number four.

"Later in the novel, J.K.Rowling writes:"

Dumbledore lowered his hands and surveyed Harry through his half-moon glasses.'It is time,' he said 'for me to tell you what I should have told you five years ago, Harry.  Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything.'

I had so much fun at your party Kris. The margaritas were so yummy! I want more! I loved the lemon salt for shots thing that Trish brought, that was pretty good. When can we have another party? Scrapbooking was a lot of fun. Thanks for inviting me. The kids were great as well, Kevin is so funny and Nicole is so cute and sweet. We should try this once a month or something. It's something that we could do for FREE! Yay! Okay now we gotta plan to see a movie next. I saw "Two Weeks Notice" with Todd on Saturday and it was so cute. I love Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant. She's so funny and he's pretty charming.

Well I went to the movie yesterday with Todd. We went and saw "Catch Me If You Can". The movie runs a little long but I thought it was pretty good. Todd didn't care for it much. He wanted more action or humor. Oh well. I really want to see The Two Towers again because I had really crappy seat the day I went. I also want to see Chicago. Which one should we go to Kris?

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I went back to work today and boy was it hard. I did not want to get up at all. But the day went pretty well. I often question whether I want to pursue a teaching career and days like this reminds me why I am a teacher. I love to be around kids and people. I hope everyone is doing good. I miss my friends!
