Todd and I went to the movies yesterday. We haven't been in the longest time! Barbershop was #1 for 2 straight weeks and I heard good things about it so I thought it would be fun to see. When the movie first started I didn't laugh much the first 5 minutes. I thought oh no this is going to be another dumb movie and I'm not going to find anything funny. But it got better very quickly. I laughed out loud soo many times. This movie is intelligent, has heart, and is hilarious. The language isn't bad in the movie so I was glad that the movie and the characters kept it real without using a lot f-bombs and other expletives. I would definitely recommend this movie.

I know that I should be expressing this everyday and not just on holidays or special occassion but I did want to mention this day on my blog. I hope everyone has takes the time to express their thanks, love, and gratitude to eachother and remember not to take life for granted.

OMG I can not wait for Tori's new album to drop. I've been listenin to some of the songs that have already leaked out onto the net and they are so awesome! The first single is called "A Sorta Fairy Tale" from the Scarlet's Walk and I didn't like it at first and now I can't stop listening to it. It's got great lyrics and the song just rocks. October 29th just can't come soon enough if you ask my opinion. I'm ready for it now! There is going to be 18 songs on the cd! Wonder if it'll be a double disk, hope not. Oh well.

1. Amber Waves
2. a sorta fairytale
3. Wednesday
4. strange
5. Carbon
6. Crazy
7. wampum prayer
8. don't make me come to Vegas
9. Sweet Sangria
10. your cloud
11. pancake
12. I can't see New York
13. mrs. jesus
14. Taxi Ride
15. another girl's paradise

"A Walk To Remember"

Well I hope everyone had a nice Labor Day Weekend. I had a nice one. I spent a couple of days at the Del Mar Race Tracks. I have never been to the tracks until then so it was fun. Todd and I did really well. We won 3 of 5 races we betted on. Monday was not so good, I never won and Todd won once I believe or twice. Anyways I think we're done with the tracks for a while.

On Saturday I was finally able to get my hair done. Kristen and I went to her cousin's place in OB called Luscious Designs. Debbie did an awesome job on my hair. I have chunkier and lighter highlights in my hair. I also got a my hair trimmed a bit as well as freshening up my layers. Kristen had her hair done as well and it looks awesome because she got some blonde highlights as well as red in her hair. Looking good!

Credit to for the pictures.
I couldn't decide which picture to post so I put both up:o)
Don't they just look so cute together?

Well I wrote a few days ago that I went over to Miriam's to cook dinner and we watched A Walk to Remember. I decided to buy the DVD because I really liked the movie. It arrived at my house late last week and after repeated viewing, I'm totally in LOVE with the movie. I think it is so good and it is so sweet. I'm such a sucker for a good romantic comedy. Mandy Moore's stock has just shot up so much after I saw her in the movie but after checking out her website, I really think she is an awesome person. I've very proud to be a Mandy Moore fan now. Also Shane West who also stars in "AWTR" is such a hottie. I totally didn't think he was cute in the movie trailers but he is such a cutie in the movie. It's very sweet and romantic so go check it out if you haven't seen it. And also the soundtrack is awesome. If you like the music in the movie, definitely pick up the soundtrack. If you haven't seen the movie, the soundtrack is very diverse. It's got a lot rock n' roll and pop on it as well. I think that there is something for everyone. I'm listening to it now and it's great!
