Well I had a pretty good weekend. I went to the Padres game on Saturday night with Todd and his mom. We had a good time and we brought our own snacks so it cut down on the spending. We made arrangements to meet with my former master teacher, Ed. It was good to see him and his wife again. They are totally adorable. Anyways, I was supposed to cook for Todd on Sunday but I was pretty irritable all Sunday long and I decided I didn't want to cook because I was starving and didn't want to wait around to cook. Todd's mom looked really disappointed but I'll have to make it up to her later. I wanted to try this dish called "Cajun Trio". I saw a local chef cook it on tv and it looked really good. So we ended going to Joe's Crab Shack. I lOVE this place because I love seafood. The crab is soooo good. Yum. I'm making myself hungary again. Well I also spent part of the weekend watching the Little League World Series. I think it is much more entertaining watching these kids play with their heart then any Major League Baseball. Well the Louisville Kentucky team beat the Japanese team from Sendai Higashi. I was of course rooting for the Kentucky team but it was also sad to see the Japanese kids crying their hearts out.

Well today I had lunch with Kristen and Uri at my favorite sushi resturant Niban. Kristen introduced me to it and I'm totally addicted. Uri on the other hand did not look very impressed. Oh well, there's no accounting for taste. Okay, so I'm still on the hunt for this lip gloss from Tony & Tina. I love their lip gloss it's herbal therapy and it smells so good! Today I purchased this awesome smelling body balm from Benefit. It's called "Bathina Body So Fine" and it smells so sweet, light and sexy. OMG I can't wait for Todd to smell it.

Happy 39th Birthday to Tori Amos!

On August 22, 1963 in Newton, NC, Tori Amos was born. I would like to wish Tori a very happy birthday!

I went over to Miriam's house yesterday. We had a great time making dinner and the dinner was dee-licious. We grilled teryiaki steak with pineapple, rice pilaf, and ambrosia salad. It was awesome. Rudy the little mix mutt was following me around and looked up at me with those puppy brown eyes. I couldn't help but throw some food his way, he's too cute to resist. I had a great time playing with him, he's so good! Well after dinner we sat down and watched the Mandy Moore/Shane West movie, A Walk to Remember. It is so cute and romantic. It is totally better than I thought it was going to be.

I'm listening to a promo sampler of Tori's new album Scarlet's Walk. The songs are so amazing. I'm in love with them. At first I didn't take a liking to them because they are so different from anything she's done. The only song I liked was "Taxi Ride" and that's what's I'm listening to now. But the other songs are really good too. I can't wait to get my hands on the album. Here's a list of the songs on the promo cd.

1. Amber Waves (3:38)
2. a sorta fairytale (5:29)
3. pancake (3:54)
4. Crazy (4:22)
5. taxi ride (4:00)
6. gold dust (5:55)

The album should be out in October so look for it in a store near you.

Congratulations to Michelle Kwan for winning the Teen Choice Award for best female athlete. Be sure to catch it on the tube on FOX on August 19th, Monday.

I went to the drive-in with Todd last night. We saw "Reign of Fire" and "K-19 the Widowmaker". I really wanted to see "K-19" because I'm into all that history stuff but "Reign of Fire" was actually better. I thought the animation was very good. The dragons looked real and not in a hokey cartoony kind of way. It's not a long action flick which is good because I fell asleep through half' of the "K-19". It dragged a bit and I could understand why it didn't do better. Todd and I also went and saw "Signs". We are a fan of the director M. Night Shyamalan. We really loved "Unbreakable". The ending is better than "The Sixth Sense". I had figured it out and was disappointed when I saw the movie after all the hype about the movie.

DREAMER
(Submissive Introvert Abstract Feeler )

Like just 12% of the population you are a DREAMER (SIAF)--reserved and imaginative. You are basically the shy, silent type. You don't have much interest in facts and figures or most of what's going on around you, but the internal worlds you build for yourself are rich and complex.

Luckily, your creativity and strong heart mean you have a deep personality evident to anyone who gets to know you. It's just that not many people do, because most everyone thinks you're a loser. Talk to yourself less, other people more, little shaver.
